Last year I started renting out a truck for holiday mini sessions, as many photographers do. I had the cutest arrangement in the bed of the truck to get everyone in the spirit of things.
One thing I thought the truck might be perfect for aside from these types of sessions was a pinup/glamour type deal. The classic truck gave me vintage vibes so I started my search for a client who wanted to help me with this vision while I had the truck.
Melissa is a very good friend of mine from Baltimore. While we met online, we became fast friends and have met in person on a few different occasions. She even came to my wedding in 2019! Being as Melissa wasn't so far she volunteered to be my guinea pig for this idea.
Melissa came to her session decked out in the most badass yet sexy ensemble. From her leather look, bold red lip, and sexy pumps, she was a dream boat. She even brought one of her husband's motorcycle jackets to flaunt for a few to give it even more of a tough gal look.
I just love the versatility of this truck. Though I meant it for the holiday sessions, this shoot took me out of the box and was unique. Not to mention, I had so much fun working with Melissa.
What made it even better is a portion of the proceeds from each of the sessions went back to the owner of the vehicle for donations to his charity, Sleep in Heavenly Peace of Frederick, MD. Check them out if you have a chance. But what's better then sexy for a good cause, amirite?
