We don't judge at Bella Harlor, so while thinking of out of the box mini sessions I could hold, I landed on a 420 friendly session. I found two willing participants and got to work.
My favorite thing about mini sessions is designing a set. I picked out props for the theme and even got to use my really cool boho tent for the first time! Every detail was perfect for the plan. Just look how cute this is. (don't worry we set this up at a private residence!)
The vibe was completely what you'd expect. Low key and comfy. The girls loved the set up and were eager to get started and not just for the obvious reasons lol.
These ladies brought everything they would need to have a good session with one another and it helped that they are some besties! Their laid back attitude gave me exactly what I was looking for. I thought it may have been awkward since I was just taking photos as they smoked but honestly the candid shots turned out great and they didn't seem to mind me hovering to get the best shots.
We had an absolute blast and I would definitely offer these mini sessions again. I know some people may not be into this type of shoot and heck, I might even lose a client or two but I feel like this type of exposure helps end the stigma surrounding cannabis which is important to me!
As always, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this concept from an artistic perspective! Love, Amanda.
