The things I put my children through ha!
Abel is my feisty little babe. He is 8 years old and a motor mouthed firecracker. This makes it easy to get him go along with my crazy ideas, including putting a real pumpkin on his noggin.
Abel and I went to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin head. Once we picked it out it was time to get to carvin'. We picked a fun face inspired by Fortnite (of course *eyeroll*). We were elbows deep in pumpkin pulp and carving our hearts out to make the perfect head for my buddy.
Once he was over the initial shock of having a freshly cleaned pumpkin on his head he was ALL about it. I let him choose his own poses and places around our neighborhood to take his photo. I think he did a great job!

I love that my kids are a part of my creative process. Who knows! Maybe they will follow in my footsteps and one day surpass my skills! A girl can dream!
